 This title and a version of this concept has been kicking its way around in my head for...probably 8 years. At first I wasn't confident enough to 'put it all together' as a photographer and editor... and then the 'excuse' was....I don't have a rocket....for which I have in a closet a 3' 10" diameter heavy cardboard column form, along with some Red Paint thinking I'd build one. Then... PS introduced 3D...and it didn't dawn on me until last year...Hey..just use PS and make one. So that was how I spent my fathers day this year, 6hours of learning how to build the rocket. (this version was built within the time frame of the challenge).
But, this is not the concept I've envisioned. This was me putting my daughter into photography slavery while she was home for a surgery and on summer break. Testing to see if I could put it together. It has some issues, but I'm happy with the result. Especially my rocket...lol

The concept I still plan to shoot, is about kids. I'm undecided on young kids or a high school physics club that may want to assist, and in return there may be a club photo that can be produced.

Now, all that said (whew...long way to get here).... if I can get this to come together, any LosAngeles based DPC'ers who want to play..hit me with a PM. Might be a fun day?....or... it could suck... :o)

Well well looks like you spent so much time on this, it’s a shame you didn’t get rewarded more for it. I really loved the rocket, but not so much the background, it was very rather distracting, the trees especially.
I do hope you get to use the rocket, seems a waste of time not to ;)
