This is probably the 100th shot of train tracks entered in the challenge... Bumped up contrast and converted to sepia in Photoshop. Took the image at -.7 underexposure due to the snow so that the whites wouldn't blow out terribly, though they did a bit anyway.

I think this is the best tracks shot in the challenge. I love the way the snow contrasts against the brown tones of the rest of the photo. Great composition, great angle, lovely lighting and textures. 10.

Like the color and the snow highlights. The angle seems unnecesary.

Awesome shot!

Strong angle shot! Challenge well met. Framing works for me. Focus seems pretty good. I always like a little bit of foreground material in scenery shots, so I like that tuft of grass in the lower right corner, nich touch. 8 Swash

I like this shot a lot for the cimple fact that you took a shot you knew other would do, railroad tracks, and made it your own. The tilt of the camera creates the same looks with a much more interesting effect. My eye is drawn to that vanishing point no matter where I look in the shot. The warm red/brown tint also adds to this shot.

NOt and original subject for this challenge but the best one here due to the angle. Teh sepia tone works well here and the white patches of snow add to the perspective. Good job. 8

Very interesting how the two rails seem to merge in the horizon. Good job. Jacko 8

This is one of those rare instances where I think tilting the camera adds to the shot... that made it much more interesting... good eye!

I'd have liked to see this without the sky included at all, with just a slightly sharper camera angle

excellent shot! I love railroad shots and this is a good one.. the snow really creates nice contrast in this image... i don't think it would be anything close to this without that element... great work :) = 10 - setzler
