Very nice. First, I confess that I like macro shots very much. This is a great example. I like the way the bend in the rusting metal leads my eye through the picture. The diagonal comp does an effective job dividing the photo into two different zones ... the brighter and higher contrast half and the rustier, lower contrast lower half. Shallow DOF in the lower half exagerates this. Well done. Among my top picks. |

oooooh very pretty rust. meets the challenge, and is interesting, however not exciting. The foreground is out of focus. But It won't hurt my vote much. It is a tough shot to get everything in focus. |

Great texture and color. I need a focal point, though, for a photo to feel complete. Creative idea. |

Great shot of rust, but in itself not really interesting, that is why I "only" gave it a 7.
However, this would probably look very good on an album cover for a band, or a commercial, anything where you can put text on this and then print it. |
