Both are charming, Roz. I do prefer this one. Sometimes I blend the final sharpen in darken mode and (when it makes a difference at all) it's not as harsh. |

thankyou Don posthumous and Anita Neat ..
i might get it right one of these days .. like putting in a dpc friendly image .. ;) ..
its almost a fluke when i do well ..
when i'm editing something for a challenge i seem to lose my ability to just go with what i like .. i preferred the black and white but thought the voters might like the colour version .. also my monitor is not reliable right now .. and is in desperate need of a calibration .. to the point where i feel i should do everything in black and white ..
anyway thankyou for your feedback during voting Don and your comments here .. Don and Anita ..
it means a lot .. xx
edit to say .. this one also looks too sharp ..
during the league ... a little while ago ... it was suggested to me to sharpen after saving for web .. i was thinking the images looked too sharp but went with the advice .. think i'll go back to not doing that ..
