Rather befuddled here. Three days from turnover and this has hovered at about 4.28 (as it is at the moment) all along. This would be my lowest score ever, only my waste basket and toilet photo comes close at 4.39. The rub, for me, is that this is one of my favorite entries, and my delusion is that I feel it's pretty good. And I don't expect a flurry of tens to lift it up to five. What am I missing? Is anybody willing to clue me in? Many of us have experienced something like this, so perhaps it just needs to be chalked up to a psychotic break. C'est la vie, sayonara, shuffle off to Buffalo, exit stage left.
Here is a similar effort taken in early evening. It may have done better, being more "exciting", but I felt the entry was superior.

I̢۪m glad we made your morning. And why would you go to Buffalo? Buffalo is like one of the coldest places in America. I remember when we were there it snowed, and we came out of the hotel, a short walk to the car, and I was sure I was going to die because of the freezing wind.
Sometimes it̢۪s just better to go with an image you love than to try and second-guess what the voters will like. |

I was your ten. I love the colors. You and Skewsme were best in show. |

I was your eight, I thought it had a very filmic feel to it, but I knew that it wouldn̢۪t do well because, well because I̢۪ve been here long enough to know ;) |
