Discovered this place last week. When the challenge came up a day early, I decided to take the drive I intended despite my cancelled appointment. Finished, I thought, and then drove over the hill and said, "wow...." Decided to continue on, thought about turning around, continued, then thought about regrets, then decided to turn around and couldn't find a place. (well, finally I did.)
This isn't exactly the photo I wanted. It's the last and the only to include the milkweed plant. I went back today, twice, to try and do better but there was poor lighting at both hours. What I learned? I should have been more patient and diligent the first time. Lesson #2, I'm glad I have at least this.
Processing: Far, far less than I tried to make the pixels do. Levels and sharpening, crop and re-sizing, a prayer and a blessing... and then, this is one just for me.
"One thing, then another..." refers to the idea that "It's all relative." I thought the expression might not be broadly understood. But, as of this moment, it refers to all the attempts I have made to make and edit and re-take, a edit and re-edit versions of this photo, ending up with jsut what it is and not entirely happy....but I fear tha one thing, then another can just lead to further ruin.
