 No idea, if this is meeting the challenge.

Recently I was talking to a friend who complained that she seems to get invisible now that she is getting older.
By the age of 50 most women start to feel that they are perceived differently. When they come to a room, fewer and fewer men - and women! - will look at her. They "disappear" and become invisible.
This curse is also true at work. In middle age, the performance of women is systematically underestimated, they are ignored in salary increases and not scheduled for further education. For the vast majority of female executives, in the early fifties, the career is over, while men still occupy top positions at the age of seventy.

All this came to my mind when I took that entry picture.

Truly powerful. And heartbreaking. I do know that invisibility, and this image feels just like it. But in a really beautiful way.
