 Great Blue Heron flying over pond near the Columbia River with morning light reflecting up off dried grasses on the near shore. Very nice day.

I like how the blue wing extends up into the brown background while the brown underside of the bird extends into the blue of the pond. Thanks for the nice comments.

One of my favorite birds, and they certainly have an impressive wingspan. Nicely captured. He could use a bit of sharpening, IMO.
