| Beautiful lines, contrast, color. It might benefit from greater DOF, as the point of sharpest focus is limited and appears to be in an area with little detail. At this close distance, it's really hard to get much depth without focus stacking. |

| This one appears to be floating. A hint of stem might work better but could challenge the simplicity you are after. |

Canon T2i w/Sigma 10-20mm lens settings:
F-stop: 5.6
Exposure: 1/100 sec.
ISO:200 (vary this according to lighting cond.)

another absolutely stunning image Jo .
and i asked if you would put your camera settings in .. that was in the first flower i saw .. now i come to this one .. and i feel i preempted .. lol .. :)
once again i'm loving the black background and the excellent contrast between that and the white green and yellow of the flower ..:)
i also particularly like how the flower seems to be almost hanging there .. unsupported .. :) |
