minimal served you well this time. I think the exposure is perfect. this waterfall reminds of Weston's vegetables for some reason.

That's a beauty! Better than you envisioned? I'm constantly trying to get my camera to exceed my expectations, show me something I hadn't seen. The waterfall is isolated nicely, with just enough detail in the darkness.

i like that i can see the top where the waterfall starts .. i also like that the water has texture and is not smooth like you might get with a slower shutter speed .. this has personality .. and a grittiness .. excellent SOOC .. :)

I like both photos a lot but won't say which I prefer because viewing from my phone can give a very different impression to viewing on my computer. I guess I'll have to have a better look when my computer is switched on.

Terrific image, my favorite of the three. You really feel the power in the extended drop of this falls. (grammar?) The opening above is modestly restrained. The tones, in shadow and soft light, are extraordinary. Since my screen doesn't hold the entire picture at once, I have to travel from top to bottom with the water. A tour de force.

Totally agree.

This is top notch for minimal, just the right dose of light and then there̢۪s really only two things going on, that̢۪s to say rushing white water and blackness. Overall a fab picture and much better than the other waterfall shot IMO.
