 What a strange challenge! I never know what to think of these "In the Style of" challenges. Sometimes I think they are relevant, other times I think they are a waste of time. I don't believe the point of them is to make an image that looks identical. My take on participating in these challenges means to really drill down and try to understand the photographer. Then take that information you came away with and try to re-create something that feels and probably looks similar. So what does a person learn from this exercise? Will you take it forward into your own work? Does it actually hinder your own growth or does it help expand what you are already doing?

I really had no idea how this image would do. I calculated there would be tons of blurred, out of focus images and then others that missed completely. I was right about that. Somehow an image needed to stand out. So I came up with this simple image and let the viewers imagination do the rest.

I love your title and I love this photo. The very first time I looked at it I was in love, truly simplicity at its best. However I̢۪m not sure it̢۪s really her style, I mean the minimalism is, but not the black-and-white high contrast look...but hey I really think it̢۪s the best shot here. My top pick, and a fave.
