 Because Lydia requested it...

This was taken on a splendid afternoon at the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve, during the still ongoing superbloom. The hills were INSANELY orange with thick carpets of poppies.

This, however, was a very sparsely flowered view, but had these spectacular clouds, so it worked for the challenge. Processed to look more dramatic than it was. Thanks for the votes and comments.

The clouds no doubt create the scene but the reddish orange streak of light on the horizon is amazing and what caught my eye. Congrats on 4th.
