 Yeah... I have no idea why I think this fits.
In truth, I don't think it fits. But, I don't understand what fits.

I dislike "In the Style of..." Challenges.
We work hard to make our own style, right?

Oddly, I had zero idea for this... it had just come out at midnight the day my model for Avant-Garde came. After we shot that, we thought about what might work for this. I pulled out the dress I'd bought at a charity store for another challenge and she ended up saying it was so comfortable she could "live in it all day". So, I gave it to her. Ha!

She's adorable and quite cheery in real life. She was looking like a hard-working farmer's wife here for me.

We shot for just under three minutes. I didn't want to put her out any more since I'd just thrown another scene on her.

I love this, Lydia! I love the dress. I love the girl. I love the style and fit for the challenge. But most of all, I love your stories! Photography is so storytelling, and good photos always make me want to know more about it! Thank you for doing that. And congratulations on a great finish!

This is ethereal in a way - you could write a story about this image - very evocative. Contrast and B/W are very well done. Excellent entry.
