Gordon, this is a fine shot! Not sure what I can say that would help you improve upon this masterpiece. You have a perfect pan here. The type on the cab is crisp and in focus, yet you have the motion blur in the background. DOF and lighting are right on as there are no distracting highlights or dark areas. Working with a one chance shot it's a shame that the back of the cab is cut off, but it's nothing that distracts from the fact that everything in the shot works!

A great pan. I'd like this even more if the back of the car were in shot but it's very good as it is too. I am not so keen on such a thick border.

| It's a real shame that the end of the car is cropped off, but I'll bet you had to try lots of tinmes to get this shot! Excellent shot. |

| GREAT panning shot! Really excellent, and great subject... I like your photo overall, I would have suggested not having the frame on it. Still an awesome photo. You chose to put the border, to possibly add to the presentation of the photo, unfotunately I think it detracts. I'm giving it an 8 due to the border, sorry... but technically this photo is wonderful! |

| You did very well to get such a sharp shop of the moving taxi - I've always wanted to try following a subject like this, but would probably do a terrible job. It really brings the yellow taxi into the centre of attention. Great job. |

| I like this photo. Very sharp focus. Great color. Just wished you had caught the tail end of the cab. Judging how fast he was going that must have been difficult. Good job. |

| It's just a cab, but boy is it ever well shot. I've tried this kind of shot a lot of times and always ended up with some kind of blur on the moving subject. This one is super sharp! Congrats. 8 |

| The sense of motion really makes this picture... At first I thought the border detracted but I have since changed my mind. It serves to ground the car body in place, making it look like the world is moving. 9! |

| The best of its class in this challenge -- you did an awesome job of following the cap during the exposure of this one! Well done! The only thing keeping it from being a 10 is that it seems like it would have been slightly stronger to have included the full back end of the car, rather than cropping that tiny bit out. |

| Nice action shot, the sharpness of the cab is perfect! The background could be a little less distracting, perhaps a little longer exposure time would have been helpful here. But doing so, it would have been much more difficult to get the subject in such a crisp focus... Well done, good luck! |

| PERFECT pan ! The background and street are out of focus and the main subject/cab is perfectly in focus. This is a really nice example of art and not a snapshot as I've seen in many here lately. Congrats and good luck ! 10 |
