This was simple. It consisted of taping some dollar bills to a little plant around the house. Some are supposed to be blooming more than others, with one even sprouting =)

But once they were taped on, it was placed against a white wall in the hall and I took a bunch of different shots before ending up with this one. Then a post-processing adjustments of levels.

Oh, but I want a whole greenhouse filled with them! Excellent concept for the humor category. :::counting how many leaves this plant really has 1,2,3,4,5... Hmmm... Far Out...Man!!::: ...just kidding... :-)

Cute! It looks like your horizon is a little tilted, though

Very nice! I think that cropping out a piece of the bill at the very top was unnecessary. Also, the pot appears to be leaning to the right. I can see how straightening it would have effectively leaned the plant (tree:) to the left, but that's what I would prefer. Hence only 7.

Oh, but I wish! Cute idea!

I like the concept; good focus and lighting, but the crop feels too tight, and the pot appears to be at an angle, and though that's not necesarliy a "big deal", it draws attention to itself.

Very funny, and great photo in general due to the lighting.

Okay, I just can't seem to get this tree to grow for me. Fun idea. The color is sort of bland , and without your title I might have overlooked this image. Choose a contrasting color to make your image stand out.

Money is made of paper and paper comes from trees...

maybe for not for me...

intrusting concept but trees don't noramily grow in pots (do they?) the 1 out side my house isn't. Maybe Bonsias(not spelled at all right but the art of growing small trees in pots to scale) do.
but i digress it is a nice overall shot but it doesn't make me laugh or even smile.
