 interesting information about rainbow lorikeets

i was at a cafe near the Opera House in Sydney with my family .. and these rainbow lorikeets were stealing the one serve sugar from the tables and eating it up on the canopy .. the canopy was quite high .. so i wanted to get on a chair to get better photos .. the chairs werent stable enough and i dont think the cafe owners would have approved .. ;)

This is so amazing, Roz! I canĂ¢€™t imagine seeing a gorgeous bird like this just out and about doing life! Our birds here are so typically just brown or gray. What a treat! I would give them all the sugar they wanted :)
