Thank you for the nice comments. The letters were written by my Father-In-Law to my Mother-In-Law (then girlfriend) during WWII. They are very endearing as well as an account of his experiences as a tail gunner during the war in the Pacific. They are both gone now and we inherited these letters, several hundred in a cardboard box. I spent several hours reading some of them while setting up this photo shoot.

Beautiful work, and how lovely, back in the days when people wrote letters. I̢۪ve kept the letters that my husband wrote to me while we were dating, they are so precious.
