Seems to be some strange reddish marks on each of the clips. I am wondering if makeing this black and white would have helped there. I don't like the redish marks on the clips, so that would have taken care of my biggest problem with the shot, and not really taken anything bad away, since it's practically black and white anyway. I like the set up, and the angle and framing/cropping are good. Lighting seem a little bright in spots, but overall ok. The border works here. ~Heather~

Interesting idea, but lacks a bit on a technical side - overexposed (direct light?), lighter background with semi-diffuse light from side to show some shadows would have been a better solution...

i guess you wanted to isolate the fg from the bg, but there are some artifacts in the paperclips from the severe levels/curves to get there.
