 Most of the credit goes to my model, 84-year old Cy. When I saw his striking face at an art exhibition, I simply had to introduce myself and invite him for a photoshoot :). He is a financial advisor, but when I told him I wanted to make him a mafia boss, he was game immediately.

This is the color version. I still can't decide which one I like more

Congrats again Lev. The pipe says “Sherlock Holmes” to me, rather than mob boss except for the hint in the title. Black and white was the right choice especially for the subject.

I thought most would of guessed it was your shot Lev, the classic dark moody image with distinguished gentleman, usually with a hat, smoking (or this time with pipe), high contrast, sharp as and classy. This is you to a T :)

I was one of the 10's, Lev. Great portrait. Regarding the color version, I have this observation; in all respects it's strong and rich, but in color the out-of-focus pipe bowl registers much more, to the degree that I find it detrimental.
