The electronic eye in/on this camera is not actually electronic. This camera contains no electronics whatsoever and is no different the an older SLR. |

I cannot help but think electronics when I see this type of camera. It is well shot, detail and texure are very fine. Looks like I could touch the side of the cam and feel the roughness. Refelction in lens is perfectly placed. Seems a bit overexposed on the base of the lens connector. |

Great subject for the challenge. Nice photo in general, but I'd have preferred the background farther back and change lighting to get rid of shadows. Still, one of the better ones seen in this challenge so far. |

Nice idea for the challenge. This would have shown much better though with a black background, and maybe some more diffuse lighting. Perhaps a bit of a perspective shot would have been cool as well--that's a big lens for that camera! |

I'm not certain, but does this not contain electronic circuits? Nice exposure, tonal range, focus, and composition, by the way. |

Nice shot of an interesting old camera...I hope everyone realizes it has the hand crank and is indeed not electronic. |

"non-electronic" This is an electronicly assisted camera.
[edit]
OK. There's a hot debate running in the forums about what exactly is "electronic".
I have decided to subtract only one point for items I believe to be electronic, rahter than the hard-line "1" I originally issued for such items. This is far more fair and reasonable. |

I like the way this works in with the background, Nice and sharp. Some spots seem to be blown out and that usally hurts the photo. |

The term electric eye on the front makes me believe this could be battery powered? But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and give you the score this shot deserves. |

Here, either an all black or all white background would help set off the subject since in this image the subject and the background are the same colors. The idea and image are great, although I think this would be considered an electronic item by many people. |
