This is a very nice composition with an ethereal quality to it because of the misty background. The color adds to that overall feeling.
I like how the foliage growing below the trees sort of reflect the shape of the distant mountain, in reverse, similarly to how it would reflect in water.
Using a portrait rather than landscape orientation works well with the subjects, since they are vertical.
Overall this is a very lovely composition, peaceful and pretty. I'd agree with some of the others who said they didn't see how it really meets the challenge.

To me, this is a bit of a stretch for the challenge, love wouldn't necessarily have come to my mind w/out the title. But I can see where you were going, so I'll accept that. Composition-wise this is a good shot, the two trees are definitely the focus, and the mountain in the background gives the photo balance. I'm not sure about your choice of coloring. What did the original look like? How would it worked in simple b&w? I'd be curious to see those, maybe you'll post links after the voting is over. |

Tie to the subject is a strech. Nice composition, but I wish it were more properly exposed. |

Unique idea for the challenge, fitting sentiment. I'm not sure that I'm wild about the pinky tone to the image, but perhaps that's my monitor. Otherwise, it's a lovely composition. 7 |

lol, cute interpretation of the subject. They better love each other because they're going to be side by side for a very long time. Nice scenery ... like how the mountain in the back is diffused. Jacko. |

If I could actually enter this, I was thinking something like this. you've upped it a notch with a cool, practical tone. |
