Did this a couple of times to try and get it
right. Maybe went a little to quick. I would like to have made a couple spot edits. Just did some brightness/contrast adjustments.

Can obviously tell these are on a glass because of the random speckles in the sky. I guess my real problem with this shot is WHY? Why are there 'pepers in the sky'. There are definately 7 of them...but horrible 'product placement' so to speak. Focus seems ok. the trees in the background are distracting and I'm just not drawn into the photo. Seems to out of place. ~Heather~

Hot! I love chilli! I have to admit I can't figure out the setup for sure. No matter how you did it, it looks as if you had just thrown the chillis into the air. If you did not, I'd have arranged them in a more homogenuous (uh, spelling? :) way. Some noise there, but that doesn't matter. I like the contrast between the hot chillis and the cold autumn/winter day (bare trees).

I've looked and looked at this trying to understand why it leaves me feeling flat. In the end, it looks more like a composite of 2 images rather than something shot from the camera. I am sure it's the colors of the peppers but the colors make it look like the shadows are off. In the end, I guess I feel flat because it seems a bit unreal. Sorry. Just an opinion.

nice idea. the only thing i don't really like is what looks like water drops or dust in the upper center of the frame.
