I guess my edit was too experimental.

I had lots of photos of flowers close ups and could also make it look like early morning but I chose this. My mistake.

this is beautiful Margaret ..
I don't think it was a mistake at all .. I love the different views you show us of your world ..
this photo .. there's so much going on .. the carpet of flowers in the foreground .. I can imagine lying on that carpet looking up at the sky ..
the middle distance .. the green grass and those trees.. like an invitation ..
then the mountains in the clouds ..
this whole scene seems almost magical ..
I'm glad you entered this instead of flowers .. this is unique and stunning .. and unforgettable .. what a fantastic place to live .. :)

and scoring high in a dpc challenge doesn't always mean the photo was amazing and wonderful .. and vice versa ..
case in point this photo ..

Oh my goodness. Harsh voting? Only a few 4's and nothing less than hardly seems harsh.

Nice place indeed. The light is a bit harsh on the foreground flowers, which is a primary piece of this comp. An hour earlier or later could have made a big difference? Wonder how this would have come off with a wide angle lens parke in the front edge of that flower area?
