 This seems a bit cliche, but we were driving in Maui when Somewhere Over the Rainbow played on the radio as this rainbow appeared.

I used a polarizer to bring out the colors. Minor level adjustments and USM.

I am a total newbie. Constructive criticism is appreciated.

Ooooh it's a controverial one, there aren't 7 colours in the rainbow by the way it's a spectrum, but smartassing aside you gain points for clevernes and meeting the challenge in an original way, but lose a couple for composition lacking.

I think would have more impact for the challenge if we were able to actually see all 7 colors. in a rainbow, you never really see all 7 colors. it is definately implied that they are all there, but we don't really see them too well. oh well..I know they're there. lol. this is a really peaceful shot. like how the rainbow is to the left of the photo, and I like the clouds, and the blue sky is really pretty too. ~Heather~

Very clever. I would have never thought of a rainbow. The blues and violets are stunning. Nice compositon.

Very nice rainbow..I was a the other end of it today here in Rhode Island..It was beautiful. (there was a rainbow this afternoon here) Gave you a 10...(:

Okay, my scientific background can grasp the seven intellectually. And it's a very nice rainbow photo. The colors are great. Clouds set off the rainbow nicely. But in the end it doesn't feel like it meets the spirit of the challenge to me.
