 BIG THANKS for all the amazing comments, I considered entering this shot for fences, but I thought I would keep it for extended editing along with another exposure in the background, which was an orchard of trees, then I edited it in motion blur.

this really is quite beautiful. The colors are gorgeous. The thing I find interesting, particularly with these colors, the recurring dream could either be a good one or a nightmare. The colors are warm and happy, and yet they also seem forest firey.

Normally it's the subjects/points of interest that makes the image. And although the interaction between mother and child is interesting, for me it's the beautiful background that really makes this image. The colours, the blur, amazing!. It was one of my top picks. Congrats on the Red.

and thats not to diminish your amazing bird .. its just a taste preference ..

seriously if this isnt a neat image i'll eat my hat .. if i can find one .. one that is very very small .. altho i dont think i'll need it ..
this is WONDERFUL .. loving the silhouettes and the colours .. and the gorgeous background .. and of course the connection between the adult and child ..
the title gives me goosebumps .. and nearly brings me to tears ..
i have felt that separation .. and i have dreamed it as well ..
you have captured it .. something that can almost not be captured ..
