Apt description in the title for complex rhythms. |

Now this does look like a street pigeon, but I don̢۪t think it̢۪s his because I̢۪m pretty sure he wouldn̢۪t replicate a very similar image, also looks like maybe you̢۪ve used some Glam glow which I̢۪m pretty sure he never uses. Already voted. |

So many possibilities and nothing lines up (in a good way). |

Hmm. One of two top choices for being Rich's entry. I'm leaning towards one other however. This is well done in his style. |

Yes, the deliberate disorientation throwing us into freefall, attempting to right ourselves and so again the world. If I may be so pretentious in making pronouncements, art often endeavors to shake us free, afford space to launch ourselves over the rutted pathways of hard set perception. How wonderful that mere rotation can be so successful. Another thing about your image that strikes me are the lines and patterns set up by your use of saturation. Seems bizarre that an aspect of black and white photography, banishing color to bring out line and form, can be brought to the fore by assertive saturation creating its own establishment of emphasis. So we're thrust into abstraction as well as disorientation. I really enjoy these transformations.
Thank you. |

photography is indeed strange music. hard to dance to. best not to try at this angle. I don't even know which way is up. so I'll just hum along instead, because the rhythm is good. and the simple palette of complimentary red and green is enjoyable as well. |
