Clever use of your camera's antigravity setting to add interest to an otherwise unremarkable scene. You can rest assured that 300 or so voters turned their heads sideways. ;-)

I'm not really sure why you chose to shoot rotate it this way, but I find that it is very distracting to the overall impact of the photo. Definately 7 of the subject. Actually, 7 of 2 different subjects. Which is ok too. Focus seems ok, and all, but I think that the way you make it look like the candles are on the 'wall' is distracting. I think it adds nothing to the photo. ~Heather~

Creative direction, unintersting subject, bad colors. I have never seen a table top of wallpaper.

The orientation of the candles makes this shot look really funky. It looks like the shot was taken with the paper pattern on the bottom, and inverted.

imaginative illusion, but it leaves me wanting a focal point

Now that's a bizarre shot...not sure which subject to look at, the candles or the books. The candles draw my attention away from the books. But I'll give you credit, it holds my attention...7

Interesting concept. Reasonable lighting, focus and composition. However, I am not fond of this perspective and the awkward and unnatural positioning of the candles.

Cool idea to rotate it. Nice illusion.
Try this to get more 'pop' from your photo by removing the haze - USM 40%, radius 60, t-hold 1.
