 First I wet my face and put the candies on.

That's when I found out that they fall off AND they discolor one's face.

So, I put white glue all over my face and poured the candies onto it (with a bowl underneath to catch the over pour.)

That's when I found out that you really can't catch these little things. They bounce. Everywhere.

The glue was drying, so I shot me.

Then, I got out the broom and dustpan.

That's when I found out that you really can't sweep these things. They roll. A lot.

So, I got out the vacuum cleaner.

That's when I learned that they also get into the cracks between the hardwood flooring.

So, I got out a knife and flipped them out of the cracks, then vacuumed them up.

I put away the vacuum cleaner.


That's when I learned that I forgot to clean them off of the counter.


So, I started rolling them off the counter with a towel into a bowl.

And THAT's when I knocked over the entire 8 oz container of tiny little candies all over the kitchen.

Man, those things can bounce and roll.

Like rain.

*sigh*

Love it Lydia. Only you would think of this. I laughed when I read your description. It always seems odd when the set up and clean up take longer than taking the picture and processing.

This is colorful and funny and joyous. And your background just added to the slapstick aura of the whole enterprise.

Again two votes of 2 and one of 3. I don't understand what's going on with voting! Your image clearly deserved higher.

I was enjoying reading your comments and then I got to this bit - And THAT's when I knocked over the entire 8 oz container of tiny little candies all over the kitchen. and I really laughed hard, thanks for that. I̢۪m sorry it didn̢۪t do better for you :-)

you would have to be one of the funniest ppl/photographers here in dpc ..
you lift this site .. giving smiles and laughs to ppl who look at your photos ..
of course not every single photo .. but lots ..
anyway .. you are getting a good vote from me because i think you have gone above and beyond for this challenge .. this is soooo good .. :)
