 grasshopper in the grass on the leaf was taken with olympus omd em1 mk3 .. one photo uncropped ..
cobwebs .. one photo.. taken with lensbaby velvet56mm on canon 5Dmk4 ..

the horse in the mist .. a combination of the horse photo and another cobweb photo .. using the velvet 56mm lensbaby for both . .



i prefer the grasshopper to the horse .. altho from the reaction the horse got in the lensbaby group in Facebook it might have gone better than the grasshopper .. but it had also been in instagram too long to then put it in a challenge here ..

nearly rollover ..
i'm quite blown away how this has gone ..
atm i'm 7.3235 with a bit over an hour till rollover .. and unless this goes south really badly in the intervening time it will get on my profile page .. which is a real achievement for me ..

gotta say a HUGE thankyou for all the comments and how much ppl appreciated this image ..
i'm very grateful to you guys .. xx

just to add ..
such a lucky shot .. a grasshopper in the grass is rather nice .. but for me to find him actually sitting on a dead gumleaf .. literally far out .. !! .. i thought it looked like he was doing push-ups .. lol .. ;)

Absolutely enchanting. A bliss of green. The detail is wonderful. This little hopper looks like a gentleman in Parliament arising to make a point of order. The majestic eye, dainty legs and feet, antennas, armor - revelatory. The bedewed spider web bunting is an extraordinary backdrop. The supporting leaf, or whatever, a magic carpet.

Love the dewdrops on the spiderweb behind him, and the eye is nice and sharp. Kind of want a bit more DOF to get the rest of the head in focus, too.
