thanks for all the nice comments (and votes).

i made this challenge suggestion in 2015... when it came up, i was at a total loss as to what i was even thinking it would entail.

so i just started splattering and dropping salty water on sheet glass and drying it with a space heater... and finally got something that looked interesting using macro lens
