Yes this was shot in Downtown Dallas at Thanksgiving Square. I wanted to get a reshoot of this with my 12mm lens and dSLR. My other shot was with my Fuji 602 and it couldn't get as wide as I wanted.

A re-shoot of a ribbon-winning photo? Now, where have I heard of that idea recently ...

Great job -- one of my top photos in this challenge.

Great shot Danny! You know, I went back there a while ago looking for that man that told us to go in there so I could ask him to turn the lights off at the top. Couldn't find him though.

Nice wide angle shot. Helps to have a wide angle lens.
Still a great landmark!

Congrats on this gorgeous top ten image...which IMHO should have a ribbon attached. Great shot! :o)

I swear I've seen this same angle on this tower in a DPC winner. But excellent anyway - 7

I've seen this before on DPC. I think the stained glass is well exposed, but the interior is somewhat subdued. Quite a difficult shot to take, I imagine. Overall I think you handled it well.....hmm...perhaps a fill flash on aperture priority with the same shutter speed would have improved the interior lighting?

EDIT: Revisiting for another look. On second thought, I think the exposure is just fine the way it is. Would I prefer a brighter interior? Yes but it does not detract any from this outstanding photograph. Bumping up. 8

EDIT: My pick for top three. Bumping again to 9.

Except for the smudged look, I like it a lot. Great capture.

I haven't traveled enough to recognize this landmark, but I do love it. I think it's my favorite in the challenge. BOL 10

Now THAT is a tower worth visiting! Few of these entries have made me want to travel to the Landmark, but... this is fascinating!

interesting take on the challenge, shooting a landmark from the inside. while this is a beautiful image (and one that i am sure was not that easy to capture), it doesn't really convey a sense of the landmark itself. hopefully for you the voters won't hammer you for your vision.

This is beautiful. I am hoping for a ribbon on this one.

I feel like I've seen this before. Gorgeous, regardless. Nicely exposed!
