I thought for sure this was at least in the top 5. It was one of my top picks. Congratulations on a nice finish anyway.

Really like the lighting you got ... worth setting the alarm clock.

The only flaw with this picture is the presence of branches. They're somewhat distracting. Colors are great!

This looks like a postcard. Great sky. Great work. The shadows are pretty pronounced, but I think it is appropriate on this shot. Good work 8.

Very nice, however, since this is Advanced Editing and cloning is allowed, your probably gonna lose points for the distracting stray branches, all of which look to be very easy to clone out.

Well composed, but would probably have been worth your while to clone out those branches.

Hey, a fellow Madisonian! I photograph the WI capitol often and can appreciate how tough it is to find a unique and compelling angle or perspective. I love the way you've composed this. The leading lines of the two "wings" lead naturally to the center columned area, and the main subject, the dome, rises majestically above, beautifully off-center. Excellent job technically as well, focus and color are perfect and don't get in the way of the overall impact. Well done!

One of my top picks. It's amazing the detail you can see in the building. Good luck!

Great detail. The deep blue sky makes for a wonderful contrast.

Very nice and proper. Good angle. The branches give it a bit of extra character. I like it.

Something about that angle makes the dome appear crooked to me.
