This is a superb capture and a wonderful shot, I just wasn't crazy about the processing steps in trying to lighten the egret. It seems like the lightening was done on such a small area -- the egret and a little around it, that it looked artificial. I've had this problem quite a bit. It would be interesting to see the original and see if there were better options. It is beautiful, and I gave it a 7, but it seems like the processing just wasn't up to the incredible capture -- which happens to me all the time! Well seen and grabbed!

I love how the cloud echoes the shape and position of the egret. Just find the blown out bits of the cloud distracting
