 one shot, didnt even think I had got it, as I was facing backwards to see the lightning behind me, guess my trigger finger is well trained by now! We are finally having a monsoon, and I am having the time of my life. In 2 nights, we had more rain 1.68 inches, than we had for the total rain fall of 2020!

Edited to add. No Trigger!! I do have one, but I use it for daytime only. I have asked for help so many times on how to work it at night time with no success. SO long exposure it is!

Congrats and lovely capture, it was in my top 2. Curious, trigger or got lucky? You wouldn't lose points for the first. Ever since I bought a trigger 4 years ago we've barely got a decent thunderstorm. LOL

see .. i'm psychic .. but dont tell anyone .. lol ..
congrats on such an amazing shot and the ribbon .
back in the day ppl may have thought an alien got in the pic by mistake ..
this is not only a magic lightening shot .. but it has personality as well ..
