 about the Tetragonula bees

there were these tiny little flying insects buzzing around and in the flowers of my lemonade tree .. i thought they were flies ..
i took a few shots .. trying to catch them in focus in flight .. didnt think i'd succeeded .. not feeling very inspired ..

put them on the computer and noticed i'd actually got one flying in focus .. felt i just had to do something with that shot .. so combined with other shots i'd taken at the same time ..
which is how this image came about ..

also seeing them on the computer i could see they had been collecting pollen like bees .. i did a bit of research .. and found out they are actually bees ..
how cool is that .. :)

first time I here the name of this insect.."Tetragonula Bees" actually couldn't pronounce it so I did copy+paste from your headline..
the pastels colors are great! (even without the tetra..what ever..:)

This is sharp where it needs to be and soft where it should be. Bit of a diagonal to the composition, which is nice. And I am very impressed by the capture of the flying bee. Just gorgeous.
