 After a 2-week trip to central Italy (our first venture outside of California in almost 2 years), I had probably a few hundred photos that would work reasonably well for this challenge. So my problem was to choose one... a good problem to have ;). I guess I chose well. Thank you for the votes and comments!

I already photographed this straight-up view from the center of the courtyard at the Palazzo Publico 12 years ago, on my previous visit to Siena, and even entered it here

The difference is that this time around I had a much wider lens with me ))

This certainly would be hard to beat! It̢۪s amazing! I̢۪d love to see your whole gallery of photos from this trip. I imagine it would make a beautiful Exhibit!

Siena I think, different angle than I've seen before but that tower is recognizable, definitely meets the challenge and like the centered composition and repeating shapes

there have been a few excellent entries in this challenge .. havent seen them all yet .. but coming on this was a real moment .. !! ..
like in awe ..
its an amazing image .. so well seen and so well photographed ..
thinking this will have a blue ribbon under it at rollover ..
