In the best tradition of Dutch and Flemish painters but remaining in the realm of excellent photography.
Much to learn from you Mary Ann.

Good devil may care random frazzled bits. Paleness and side lighting work well.

This image has the warm, quiet glow that epitomizes Mary Ann's still lifes. The objects, well-chosen as they are, are nicely balanced and composed. The light is a big part of the pleasure of viewing it. The table and background work beautifully in encompassing the whole. If this is not done by Mary Ann, then whoever has devised such a charming still life has certainly absorbed her wonderful guidance, along with a natural talent.
Personal favorite of the challenge.

This is a masterpiece, stunning production. The lighting reminds me of images from the past, not to mention the setup. Should ribbon.

Nice, very nice - as we called in art school: an honest image with plenty of interest

very nice arrangement, the use of the twig is lovely. Takes me to a country kitchen and I can 'see the window' to the right with all the morning light pouring in..
