I did a ws with Claudio Piccoli over the weekend, which was absolutely amazing!
This is one of the shots from the ws. We were working on very high ISO and tracking the dogs coming at us at full speed. Great fun.
After that some post how he does his images.

Thank you all for your nice comments.

Thrilled this did so well.

For those interested:
Camera: Canon 80D, 70-200 F2.8 (that is the Sport lens, very cool lens),
ISO: Can't see this on my EXIF data, it was probably around 500, more than what I would normally like to shoot with
F: 2.8
sec: 1/640

The whole exercise was about tracking the dog as they came in over the log.
Interesting (for me), he advocates using the "normal" shutter release button, not the backbutton. I have been told before by several people for action shots you should use the backbutton.

I was approx 10 meters from the log.

Oh MAN, who doesn̢۪t LOVE a running dog, flying mid air, over a log looking straight at the camera?

If this doesn̢۪t win, I̢۪ll eat my lens cap.

I̢۪ll congratulate you now on the blue!

PS is this Sandy:)

Dang! I rarely give out 10's, but that's not enough for this piece of work. The expression of joy, tack sharp focus where it counts, the comp, the bokeh, the processing ... all spot on. Awesome, awesome, AWESOME!
