 Nature can be both beautiful and sad at the same time. Migratory Monarchs joining the endangered species list is disheartening to say the least. I hope every photographer after me is given the opportunity to capture these stunning butterflies.
I feel the composition could be better but it’s much harder to be a photographer at the park when you’re also being Mommy at the park. I’m grateful for this space and the challenges giving me motivation to keep my camera with me everywhere I go.

This was taken at Orient State Park. There were a few patches of thistle right at the entrance/ exit of the walking trail.
