 I was only able to get out this one evening and capture the moonrise before dark. The sunset was at 7:14pm and the moonrise was at 7:19pm. The moon to the Southeast was big and a bright pinkish orange. The sunset was perfect and the fishing was great! Since I had no idea if the haze in the horizon was going to clear up enough I had no idea if I was going to capture a decent photo for this challenge and in enough time in the twilight.
I’m not thrilled with the results but for the sake of using this challenge as an excuse to get out and shoot and time fishing with the family, here is what I ended up with for the challenge.

On this day the moon rise was right around the same time as the sunset. So it was still daylight but more twilight. More daylight than this photo looks actually. The sky was a beautiful pink and orange behind me. Unfortunately, it was the only time during the challenge dates I could shoot the moon.
