 In response to a couple of comments, of course, I could easily straighten the pier, but I thought in this case it would look better, more dynamic with this wide-angle distortion, like the whole scene is being sucked into the sunset.

Beautiful scene. Wish you'd had the space to do a perspective adjustment, but you would have lost too much on the left after crop. Lovely colors.

Awesome. Sometimes I worry I'm being too harsh in my voting but THIS is how a relatively simple concept can be a stunning photo, perfectly-executed with both composition and exposure. Great job!
