Greetings from the Critique Club...
There is definately a broken car in the image. The car is rather hard to make out and hard to find. Perhaps if it held more of the frame, it would stand out more -- or perhaps not. The whole idea that the car has been sitting there broken for some time is very apparent by the snow covering it. There is just too much snow to really make it out though.
As far as the composition, the tree to the left is almost as bad as say a finger that got in the way of the lense. My eyes sort of jump around the image from place to place never really coming to rest on the broken car.
The shot also seems just a tad dark throughout for my taste. Maybe a little slower of a shutter speed to allow a bit more light in would have helped a little. Either way, good idea, keep shooting! |

Expanding the tonal range would help a lot. The out-of-focus vertical on the left is a major flaw in this otherwise very appealing image. |

not sure, but i'm guessing the broken part of the image here is what looks like either a strangely shaped fallen tree or (much more likely) an abandoned car. however, not sure most people will catch this - a different angle might have emphasized this aspect of the photo better. good colors/contrast however. |

It took a while to see the snow covered car. Great find! Light, focus, and contrast are good. Maybe the car could be just off the center of the photo. |

Composition: 5, Ok composition. Too much snow and a bit too obscured by branches.
Technical: 8, Good exposure.
Appeal: 5, This lacks overall appeal as the main subject is too obscure, all the snow works against the photo here.
Challenge: 5, while the car is clearly broken, it is hard to appreciate the tie into the challenge because of the obscured subject.
Overall Calculated Average Score: 5 |

Returning for comments:
Yep: this vehicle is broken and cold and covered and no way out. A good b/w

A nice b/w shot. I like the framing provided by the two trees, but would have liked a little more DOF so that the left one isn't out of focus. Good job. |

I really don´t see how this fits the challenge, I don´t see anything broken in the picture, just a lot of snow. |
