 This is Hip To Be Square II of a previous challenge entry 12 years ago! Wow, where does the time go? Side note-Happy Birthday to my little model, who is not little any longer, my youngest son, Cole aka Peanut.



Don't know if this will do well; I contemplated processing it black and white and chose patterns instead of colors for his clothing but then all the hodge podge-ness of it all just lent itself to the 'square-ness' of the image in my mind so I kept it color.

Congratulations Erin (and Cole) on the ribbon! As you said in my perspective photo, isn't it great having family members who will step in when you need 'em? I wasn't 100% sure when I saw this (only 98 lol), but thought it must be yours. Awesome photo, Erin. Stay on the amazing roll you're on!

His hands are so beautiful and I mention this because more often than not a good picture is ruined by a hand, either of the photographer or the sitter.
He can study medicine or even optometry but whatever he does it̢۪s clear that he̢۪s not doing dishes!

this is inspired .. and amusing with your title ..
i've just come to look at the thumbs and see if any called out to be opened .. and this one totally did ..
its absolutely perfect .. i could guess a photographer .. but who wants to be wrong .. lol .. ;)
seeing blue although this is the only one i've opened .. :)
