I don't know if this will do well, but I laughed when I saw it on screen. The image is definitely supported by the title, but hopefully the humorous factor will win some folks over. Then there are the folks who don't like to see babies and pets (and I'm kind of in this category)... But on the other hand, you don't catch dogs doing this all the time. And it's high-key, which everyone hates.
Had the help of my husband on this one. I put the "High Velocity Floor Fan" on the floor and turned it up full blast. We were concerned that it might blow the backdrop stand over, but luck was with us. He fed her Altoids (yes, she loves Altoids - the mint kind) while we tried to get a shot with her ears way out. I never did get what I wanted, but she doesn't care for the strobes and she finally got frustrated with us and left.

Thanks for your vote and your praise :) I'm not upset - I wasn't sure this picture would do all that well on account of several factors, but we did have fun taking it. I think that if I had included a bit of an old-time fan on the right side, it would have done better.
It wasn't exactly what I wanted, but I've also had a good time post-processing several shots from this shoot for framing and greeting cards (even have her singing into a microphone in one!)

| What I like: composition, use of B&W, post processing including the border. But it seems to me a stretch for the WIND challenge. |

| i don't mind the possible stretch to meet the challenge, but i feel that it is maybe just slightly more contrasty than i like. interesting choice on dof, and i guess a good choice considering that the rear end probably isn't farting in the wind ;0 |
