 this was a last minute entry when i realized that it wasnt just about highways and roads .. but things coming together .. overlapping etc ..

felt the grass was totally satisfying the challenge .. and of course the grasshoppers coming together .. lol ..

there will probably be ppl who want to see highways and roads and the like .. and might think this doesnt fit the challenge ..
we shall see .. :)

btw .. this is 6 photos manually focus stacked ..
its so time consuming .. picking the photos that are focused on different parts of the grasshopper's bodies .. then putting them together ..

absolute bummer that i didnt get a photo with the female's back leg in focus .. sticks out like a sore thumb .. or actually leg .. ;)

Well, I over-looked the oof leg - her buried nose probably bothered me more. This was a 9 for me, though. Great interest and amazing detail. Now that I'm looking, I'm noticing a few other things you could have cleaned up had you had a bit more time like whatever is intruding at bottom of frame. But the overall impact is sooo good.
