I wasn't going to enter this challenge. It was definitely a difficult one to think of something original and I did not need the calories!!! Unbeknownst to me my wife made an apple pie recipe the last day of the challenge (she didn't know it was a DPC). I just couldn't let a good Pi go to waste. Thankfully it did not go to waste but it did go to waist!!!
Disqualification Details
Consensus of the SC/Admins is that the added "rays" constitute an added element, and therefore are outside the Standard Rules.

I used a program called Skylum. SC decided it was beyond the scope of standard editing. Looks like I won't be using it anymore!
