Thank you for all the comments and the high score. It pleases (and surprises) me that this did so well. I generally struggle with still life challenges, and don't typically score well on them. I did experiment a lot with the lighting and composition, but, to be honest, I think I got lucky with this one that it turned out well. Next still life challenge, I expect to be mid-pack again.

This is photographed by a master. I can tell, the lighting is just superb and so is the composition. I feel this could be the blue.

fantastic .. felt like saying 'fanbloodytastic' ..!!.. ;) because thats the first thing that came to mind .
the lighting is gorgeous .. the details just wonderful and your setup perfection ..
another ribbon contender .. i've seen three that i would love to see ribbon .. so good luck .. although i'm sure this will be blue, red or yellow ..
