The crows and squirrels usually compete for the peanuts. The squirrels usually win out.
If you’re wondering how I got this capture simply I set it up and waited!

Absolutely brilliant Larry you got my top vote, so humorous. I just can̢۪t believe that you pulled this off, absolutely fantastic stuff.

I agree with Wendy – your outtake is funnier and better technically, although this one is certainly an order of magnitude harder/luckier to capture. I wonder if you could improve it in post-processing by making the background less dark, your crow would stand out much better.

during voting i thought this might be Wendy or you .. !! ..
it was a toss-up .. as both you guys are amazing photographers .. with lots of patience ..
it would have been great if the squirrel had gone to the crow's food and vice versa .. as in a just a bit funny .. !! ..

I didn't know someone was taking over my squirrel photos! I used to be the squirrel queen!!!

Congrats on the blue! But I definitely prefer your shot in the outtake. Even though it's incredible that you got them both in the same shot, I like the humor better in the outtake, and it also is a better shot, imo. But this is a hoot!
