Jeff and I went to Bosque del Apache in New Mexico before Christmas. It's such an incredible place! A couple of days in a row we were lucky enough to spot a couple of coyotes, and we just sat and watched them for quite a bit. In this shot, he was actually walking down a path right near us, and went into a stretch!

I actually meant to enter this one:



but forgot to switch this one out.

Well done. We don’t have coyotes where I live. Instead we have hybrids (coywolves) in thr backfield. Bigger than coyotes, smaller than wolves. They live in urban areas and are not shy around people.

Congratulations on the blue! FWIW, I actually prefer your entry to the tighter crop, as the entry is very clearly shot in the wild and to my eye more atmospheric
