New lens over the holidays. 85mm 1.2, so a lot of shots with shallow DOF and bokeh!! This was my 2nd test shot with the lens. I debated this for the Shallow DOF challenge, but felt it fit better here.
Nova is situated to the left as I like the rule of 3rds placement + I don't like cutting off the tales. So cropped accordingly. Happy with the 2nd place finish :)
Didn't consider cloning the eyes. Wockers sometimes have tears, and I think it's more natural to portray them that way. |

Definitely stoic indeed.
Did you consider cloning around his eyes? Would have bumped this great photo to excellent status.
Pretty sure most people won’t notice it, but I’m a stickler for the fine details, should still do well. |
